Assalamu Alaikum wa Rehmatullahi wa Barakatuh 

 

We will be having an Eid party/BBQ on Thursday August 28, 2014. The cost per student for the BBQ will be $5.00, which is to be given to the respective teachers no later than Tuesday August 19.


Registrations for current students for the 2015 Madressah year will take place October 6 to 17. You will receive further information regarding registrations in the coming weeks insha-Allah.


Our policy in regards to absences is as follows: students who have been absent 20 days in the first term will lose 5 marks out of the 100 allocated for “Attendance”. Further absences result in a loss of 1 mark each. This rule will not apply to those who have taken Principal-approved vacations. For the Finals, the same rule will apply only the number of absences will be reduced to 15 days before marks are deducted.


Students who have been late 20 days in the first term will lose 5 marks out of the 100 allocated for “Punctuality”. Any further lates mean a loss of ½ mark each. Students of the Evening Hifz program are considered late if arriving after 5:05 pm. Evening Madressah students are considered late if arriving after 5:30 pm.


Students in grades SK and up who fail in Qaidah/Qur’an and/or fail in any three subjects, including du’aa, memorization of surah, tajweed, fiqh, akhlaaq, aqaaid, or Seerah (SAW), in the Mid-Term Exams will be issued a warning letter. Any student who fail in Qaidah/Qur’an and/or any three subjects in the Finals will not be permitted to advance to the next grade.
