Indoor Muslim Soccer League (Boys 8 to 11)
During the winter of 2005, the Social Service Committee ran an indoor soccer league for boys aged 8 to 11. This league was a great success with both the kids and the parents. We look forward to running the league again in the upcoming winter.

Eat Great Feel Great Dinner
The dinner was a very well received event, alhamdulillah. The lecturers were informative, the cooking show was innovative, and the food was delicious. Because of the overwhelming positive feed back the committee is working hard towards organizing another dinner in the upcoming winter. Please stay tuned for more details.

Hospital Visitation
Visiting the ill is such an important duty for Muslims. The Social Services Committee has brothers who have gone through spiritual care training at Markham-Stoufville Hospital. These brothers are now visiting Muslim patients. If you are interested in visiting your brothers and sisters, please contact the Social Services Committee for more information.
Meet and Greet
Through the Meet and Greet, program members of the community get to know the members of the Social Services Committee. A small light, healthy snack is served to all free of charge. This program is held on the first Sunday of every month after salat-ul-Maghrib. Come for the food and meet us!
Annual Picnic and B.B.Q
The Islamic Foundation of Toronto has been holding this picnic for several years now. The picnic is an excellent way for you and your family to socialize and have fun with other Muslims. The picnic will, InshaAllah, take place on Sunday July 24, 2005 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Milliken Park. In case of rain, the picnic will be moved to IFT. Please buy your tickets now! We hope to see you there!

Immigration Services
The committee is in the process of assembling a package of information that will be useful to new immigrants to Canada.
Funeral Services
The committee is developing a seminar geared towards educating people on death, funeral and burial rites. Please check the website for information regarding the start date of the seminar.
Matrimonial Services
Looking for a spouse? The Social Services Committee will soon be launching a service that will help to facilitate the marriage process, Insha-Allah.
