The Rohingya People, branded one of the most persecuted communities in the world by the United Nations - and yet - nobody knows their name. They are the forgotten Muslims of Rohingya.
In recent weeks, the escalating violence has displaced more than 90,000 Rohingya people in Burma - Myanmar. Villages are being burnt, people are being abducted, concentration camps are being created, women are being raped and children mercilessly killed. The persecution against the Rohingya Muslims can be described in no other terms but that of ethnic cleansing and genocide.
The escalating tensions keep many in danger and in need of help further compounding other critical problems like food insecurity: According to the World Food Program, more than 162,000 people are facing food insecurity and another 78,000 people are in need of immediate food assistance.
The conditions on the ground remain bleak and the number of people who need support continues to grow.
